Mission Statement: Rauner College Prep will prepare students with the scholarship, discipline, and honor necessary to succeed in college and to live exemplary lives.

The staff and students of Rauner College Prep commit to doing everything that it takes to fulfill this mission.  Our founding principal and Noble's President, Eric Thomas, is known well for saying, “It is going to be incredibly hard work and it will be worth it!  This saying has become an important part of all that we do.

Rauner College Prep opened in August 2006 with the support and generosity of Bruce and Diana Rauner, who are committed to spreading high quality educational opportunities to all students across the Chicagoland area. Mr. Rauner has provided his expertise to Noble as a member of our Board of Directors since 2009.

Rauner offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, a strict discipline policy, and a supportive small-school environment.  Our mascot is the Wildcat and our school colors are navy blue and white.  Our elective classes currently offered are PE, Band, Digital Arts, Yearbook, Social Justice, College Exploration, Art and AP Psychology. The foreign languages taught at Rauner are Latin and Spanish.  We offer numerous enrichment classes after school including: Robotics, Art Club, Culinary Club (Cake), Green Team, Math Club (HiMCM), Poetry Slam, UNICEF Club, Math Scientist Club, Viva La Cultura, and Wilderness Explorers. The enrichment courses that are only by invitation or election are as follow: Jazz Band, Shero Intern, National Honor Society, Student and Senior Council. Rauner is proud to sponsor over ten varsity sports teams.
