Our students come to us from more than 40 Chicago communities, some commuting daily all the way from Roseland and Chatham on Chicago's South side.

Student Achievement

The sky is the limit for RCP scholars!  Every year our academic record keeps improving.  In 2011 we ranked 4th among all non-selective public high schools in Chicago.  To end the 2012 year, the average ACT score for our juniors was 21.  Our students grew 5.99 points since their freshmen year, which is the highest amount of growth since the school opened.  We are really proud of our student success to date and seek to continually help them develop their love of learning and discover their interests moving forward.

College Placement Record:

Rauner’s success in preparing students for college also confirms the power of the Noble model. Among the Class of 2011, 85% of scholars enrolled at four year colleges and universities.  100% of the class of 2012 has been accepted into four year colleges.  Rauner continues to commit to the success of our scholars once the reach college by staffing a full time alumni counselor to serve as a resource for them beyond high school graduation.  The Class of 2012 was awarded more than $32 million in scholarships and grants to help ease the financial burden of attending college.
